On Junior World Padel Championships enter their decisive phase in Reus (Spain). This Thursday, the team of France boys begins its quarter-final against Paraguay, with a place in the semi-finals at stake. The winner should, barring any surprises, find theArgentina, opposed at the same time to Italy.
Three decisive matches
The Franco-Paraguayan duel will be played in three confrontations:
- U14: G. Bessière / S. Huard de la Marre (FRA) vs J. Rejis / F. Trussy (PAR)
- U16: Q. Bernard / J. Peloux Marchini (FRA) vs AV Lopez Barresi / F. Bareiro (PAR)
- U18: Y. Boronad / T. Fonteny (FRA) vs F. Dehnike / M. Gonzalez (PAR)
France confident, but wary...
After a well-controlled group stage, the French team is approaching this quarter-final with ambition. The young French team has shown great consistency and collective strength, which gives hope of qualification.
But be careful: the Paraguay remains a historically dangerous nation. Even if France starts with a slight advantage, the South American opponent has often managed to surprise and could give the French contingent a hard time.

One goal: the final four
In case of victory, France would reach the semi-finals, probably againstArgentina, the big favorite against Italy. A clash that would have the flavor of a classic in the junior category.
All eyes are now on Reus, where the French team hopes to confirm its ambitions and continue its world adventure.
