The French teams continue their successful tour at the Junior World Padel Championships in Reus, Spain. Three French pairs have qualified for the semifinals of their respective brackets in the Pairs Open. In addition, the French boys' team has reached the semifinals of the Nations Cup, where they will face Argentina.
A busy day from 9 a.m.
Saturday will begin at 9 a.m. with the U16 semi-final. Quentin Bernard and Johan Peloux will be opposed to the Spaniards Espino / Leonardo, the number 1 seeds in the category. A tough test for the French against a pair announced as one of the tournament favorites.
Around 10:30, it will be the turn of Timéo Fonteny and Yoan Boronad to play their U18 semi-final against the Paraguayans Dehnike / M. GonzalezThis confrontation is reminiscent of the aborted confrontation during the France-Paraguay quarter-final in the nations table, won 2-0 by the Blues. This time, the duel will indeed take place and promises to be the major event of the morning. The match will be followed live on Padel MagTV.
The girls are also there
In U18, Kimy Barla and Lou Lambert-Agosti continue their excellent run. They will face the number one seed in their draw. The task promises to be difficult, but their presence in the semifinals already validates a successful tournament.
