The final four perfectly summed up the competitive spirit  : level of play, commitment and matches contested until the very end.

In the first semi-final,  Steed Malbranque and Sylvain Wiltord  had to fight against  Eric Cubillier and Rémy Riou The Lyon duo finally managed to make the difference.  tie-breaker , at the end of a particularly close match where the Lens pair put up a real fight.

The poster had everything going for it: on one side, the Marseille pair made up of  Robert Pirès and Grégory Sertic  ; on the other hand, the Lyon duo  Steed Malbranque / Sylvain Wiltord .

In an increasingly electric atmosphere as night began to fall, the two teams engaged in a real battle. The Marseilles players, solid and highly focused, held their own against their opponents for a long time.
