Di Nenno / González  in turmoil. And this first tournament of the South American tour isn't going to reassure the Spanish-Argentine pair. Seeded 7,  Martín Di Nenno  et  Momo González  were eliminated in the second round by  Eduardo Alonso  et  Aimar Goñi Lacabe  in two controlled sets: 6/3 6/4.

What is particularly striking about  Di Nenno , it's the drop in its ratio  wins / losses While in 2022 and 2023, the Argentinian posted nearly  78% win rate , it revolves around the  50% in 2026 , and this is even before incorporating the result from Asunción.

The victory at  FIP Gold Almaty  Last April's event appears almost like the tree that hides the forest. On the circuit  Premier Padel The record remains very insufficient for a player of this caliber: only one semi-final this season, one round of 16 at the  Brussels P2 , from the sixteenths to  Newgiza P2  and  Cancun P2 … The situation is worrying for the man who, just three years ago, was still part of the  second world pair  next to  Franco Stupaczuk .

And perhaps the most complicated part is yet to come.

The future association with  Paquito Navarro , scheduled to begin on Italy Major Will it allow the two players to find a second wind? Nothing is less certain at the moment. Until then,  Momo González  et  Di Nenno  will have to try to end this South American tour on a better note… and why not offer one last surprise in Argentina before returning to Europe.

Eduardo Alonso  et  Aimar Goñi Lacabe The adventure continues. Next round in the quarter-finals against a much more confident pair: Franco Stupaczuk / Mike Yanguas.
