Yoan Boronad and Timéo Fonteny continue their run in the U18 Open at the World Junior Padel Championship in Reus. Seeded eighth, the French pair defeated the Qataris in the quarter-finals with a score of 6/2 6/2.

In the round of 16, the French had a scare against the Dutch Hazebroek / Panken, before winning in three sets: 6/3 1/6 6/1.

In the semi-finals, Boronad and Fonteny will face the Paraguayan pair Dehnike / Gonzalez (seeded number 6), who created a surprise by eliminating the Spanish Cabeza / Zamora Perez (seeded number 2) in three sets.

If they win, the French could face the number 1 seed in the final, Castaño Salguero / Rivas Garcia, who has not yet conceded a single set since the start of the tournament.
