Lucas Campagnolo will indeed be back on the circuit Premier Padel earlier than expected.  Having injured his knee during the Miami P1 round of 16, the Brazilian player had worried spectators after a spectacular injury. Ultimately, it was more of a scare than anything serious: after a few weeks off, the Alegrete player himself announced that he would return to competition at the Brussels P2, from April 20th to 26th.

An injury that had shaken Miami

The scene had made a lasting impression in Miami. It was during the round of 16 of the...  Miami P1 Lucas Campagnolo collapsed after a bad landing on a counter-smash attempt, causing serious concern on and around the track for his knee.

The image quickly circulated and sparked numerous reactions on the circuit. But in the days that followed, the Brazilian sought to reassure everyone. Medical examinations ultimately ruled out a serious injury, confirming that the incident was merely a major scare. But an injury nonetheless.

The player had nevertheless announced that he would take a few weeks to fully recover before returning to the circuit.

Campagnolo himself announces his return

Good news for fans of the Brazilian player:  The recovery was ultimately shorter than expected.  On his social media, Campagnolo gave encouraging news while sharing images of his physical recovery.

"A few difficult days without being able to do what I'm most passionate about, but there was no shortage of work to get back as quickly as possible. Very grateful to be able to say, 'See you in Brussels.'"

A message that quickly reassured fans of the circuit, eager to see one of the most explosive and popular players on the circuit again.

Lucas Campagnolo is already on the list of registered players for the  Brussels P2 who will be competing in the  20 to 26 April  in the iconic setting of   la  Harbor Station  of the Belgian capital.

The Brazilian will be reunited with his partner there.  Jairus Baptist The Spanish-Brazilian association will approach the Belgian tournament with the status of  seed n ° 11 , with a total of  4 622 points  in the ranking.

If all goes according to plan, Brussels will therefore mark the official return of the "Alegrete bull" to the circuit Premier Padel, after a scare that ultimately had more of an emotional than a sporting impact.
