The defeat is cruel for  Camille Sireix Associated with the Dutch  Tess De Vocht The Frenchwoman lost in the final of the  FIP Bronze Georgia  face  Vlada Kutuzova and Vilena Petrova , on the score of  6/7 6/3 7/6 .

The match was decided in the third set tie-break, after a particularly close battle.

A perfectly negotiated first set

Sireix and De Vocht had, however, made a good start to this final. Solid in the important moments, they won the first set in a tiebreak and took control of the match.

The number 1 seed then seemed capable of winning its first title of the season, after three finals already played in 2026 for Sireix.

But the fourth seed responded in the second set. Kutuzova and Petrova gradually gained the upper hand to level the match at one set apiece.  6/3 .

A defeat after a nail-biting finish

Everything came down to a very tight third set. Neither pair managed to gain a decisive advantage, and the final ended in another tie-break.

This time, Sireix and De Vocht finally gave in, letting the title slip away at the end of a match that was decided by a few points.

Beyond the result, the Frenchwoman described the match as particularly tense on her social media.

"Horrible feeling to lose this match against players who steal balls with behavior that should be sanctioned by the FIP," she wrote after the final.

An accusation made by Camille Sireix, who believes she gave her all during the tournament and did not hide her frustration after this defeat at the end of the suspense.

22 FIP points despite the frustration

Even without the title, the Frenchwoman leaves Georgia with  22 FIP points  and another final appearance to his credit.

The result remains positive from an accounting point of view, but inevitably difficult to digest after coming so close to a first title this season.
