Le  FIP Bronze Portimão  The tournament begins for the French this Friday in Portugal. Three French players are worth watching in the main draw:  Manuel Vives ,  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  et  Laura Buteau Each has a first round that seems manageable on paper.

 Vives and Guy de Chamisso are favorites for their entry into the competition 

At men's,  Manuel Vives and Olivier Guy de Chamisso The 10th seeded team will begin against the Spanish brothers.  Javier del Cacho / César del Cacho , who were given a second chance in the main draw as lucky losers.

On paper, the French pair will be the favorites. A great opportunity for Vives and Guy de Chamisso to get their week in Portugal off to a perfect start.

If they win, the draw remains fairly open, as the French could face a beatable pair in the round of 16. This suggests a promising run if they can quickly find their rhythm.

 An affordable first round for Laura Buteau 

In the ladies,  Laura Buteau  will be the sole French representative. She will play alongside the Moroccan  Kamilia Benabdeljalil .

For their opening match, they will face the wild card  Karin Marlies Lems / Diana Lemesko . Here again, Buteau and his partner will have a real chance to reach the round of 16.

The next stage, however, could be much more challenging. If they qualify, they could return to the  seeded 1, Clarinha Santos / Brittany Dubins .

A potentially big test for the Frenchwoman, who will first have to avoid the trap of the first round before thinking about a possible clash against the tournament favorites.
