Guillaume says: "At first, we considered an FIP Silver, then we wanted to move upmarket. I thought we needed a tournament with national and international reach. I also had in mind that WME could be interested in this type of event. The FFT and the League are fully supporting us in this project, which would not have been possible without them."

For Jean-Thomas Peyrou, this first is a real milestone for French padel: "I strongly believe in this project and in this circuit, which is still in its infancy. It's a bit inspired by the Petits As model in tennis."

WME Sport: a major international partner

This project has taken on an international dimension thanks to the arrival of WME Sport, main partner of the tournament.
One of the global giants in sports management and entertainment, WME Sport manages the careers of renowned athletes in multiple disciplines: tennis, NBA, NFL, Formula 1, golf... and now padel, including Arturo Coello, currently world number 1. The link with WME was established via Daryl Monfils, who introduced William to Daniel Dios, head of padel at WME Sport. Discussions were initiated at the Miami Open, then confirmed at Roland Garros.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
