La Hexagon Cup is preparing to turn a new page in its history. After two editions organized at the Madrid Arena, the team tournament will move in 2026 to another emblematic venue in the Spanish capital: the Magic BoxThe event will be held from January 28 to February 1, 2026, in the same niche as previous years.

This choice marks a significant milestone for the competition, which in just two years has established itself as a must-see on the international calendar. The Caja Mágica, already known for hosting major tennis tournaments, offers a larger capacity and more modern facilities. This will allow the event to strengthen its reputation and enhance the experience for both spectators and players.

For Sergio Lewin, director of operations and sports of the Hexagon Cup, this change of scenery symbolizes a new ambition:

"The decision to leave the Madrid Arena was not easy; it was where the project was born. But the Caja Mágica opens up new perspectives for us and allows us to continue developing a show at the highest level. Madrid remains at the heart of the adventure, with the support of the City Council and the Mayor, in order to consolidate the city's position as the world capital of padel."

The same story is heard from local institutions. Sonia Cea, sports delegate of the Madrid city council, insists on the coherence of this choice:

“The Caja Mágica is a unique venue that already hosts world-class competitions. Organizing the Hexagon Cup there confirms that Madrid is truly the world capital of padel. This tournament, with its innovative format, fully aligns with our strategy: to offer a high-level, player-centered show and provide an engaging experience for spectators.”

True to its motto “For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game. », the Hexagon Cup will retain its original format: eight international franchises made up of men's and women's padel stars, but also young talents brought together in the Next Gen category. A model that combines high-level sport and a spectacle dimension, for a competition that aims to be both sporting and general public.

After attracting large crowds and record audiences during its first two editions, the 2026 event promises to be a key moment in the young history of the Hexagon Cup.
