It's hard to miss  Lucas Campagnolo  on the court. Always intense, expressive, fully engaged in every point, the Brazilian plays with an energy that is an integral part of his identity. His celebration in the style of  Spiderman His blows to the chest or his gestures of rage have become almost as recognizable as his playing.

Guest on the show  Padel Vibes  Speaking to beIN Sports, the 31-year-old player reflected on the very particular personality he displays in matches, but also on the eventful last few months of his season.

 "There's one Lucas on the track and another off it." 

Campagnolo does not seek to hide his character.

The Brazilian even admits that when watching himself play again, some of his reactions can sometimes surprise even himself.

"There's a Lucas on the track and another one off it. Sometimes I look at myself and I'm a little ashamed, but I live and breathe the sport so much that these things come out naturally."

One way of embracing this constant intensity, which is also part of what makes him so special on the circuit.

 Miami's big scare 

His season could have taken a completely different turn.

À  Miami A bad knee movement had raised fears of the worst. Campagnolo remained on the ground, leaving doubt as to a possible serious injury.

In the end, it was more of a scare than anything serious. The Brazilian only missed one tournament, the  P2 from Egypt before being able to resume competition.

But above all, this episode allowed him to gauge the support he enjoys in the world of padel.

"What happened in Miami was a huge scare, but I want to remember all the support I received. I wasn't expecting it. It gave me a lot of strength to work and come back as quickly as possible."

 A season that could be the best of his career 

Since his return, Campagnolo has quickly regained his form.

First alongside  Jairus Baptist , and now with  Momo González The Brazilian continues to deliver strong performances and has once again established himself among the players capable of challenging the best pairs.

At 31, he even believes he is currently living his best period.

"After all that, I started playing really well again, both with Jairo and with Momo. At 31, I think I'm having the best season of my career. Nobody really counted on me, and here's the old guy still fighting."

A phrase uttered with humor, but which sums up his season well:  Campagnolo is still here , still as intense, and far from having said its last word.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
