Le Castellet continues its sporting development with the arrival of a brand new complex dedicated to padel. Located near the Paul Ricard Circuit, Smash Padel will officially open its doors same day 18 October 2025, after one Open House organized the day before, Friday 17 October, to allow the public to discover in preview the facilities of this place resolutely focused on conviviality and sport.
Four enthusiasts behind the project
Behind this ambitious project are four partners driven by the same passion for padel.
Mike Guedj, a former tennis player ranked 350th in padel, is at the head of the club. He has surrounded himself with Laurent Briançon, recreational player and trade professional,Edouard Le Scanff, real estate developer and player ranked 1387th, and Mickaël Hadjedj, financial director. Together, they wanted to create a place that reflected them: sporty, warm and unifying.
A journey strewn with obstacles
The creation of the complex was not easy. Between the land search
administrative authorizations and declaration of sporting activity, the stages were long.
“It’s a real obstacle course, but we remain driven by passion,” the founders say. “We work in an industry where people come to relax, which makes the experience even more rewarding.”
The founders are banking on a family-friendly, accessible atmosphere. "We want people to come and play, but also to stay, to share a moment over coffee, a meal, an OM match, or a game of cards," they explain.
The club will offer tournaments, training courses, themed evenings, and individual courses supervised by two coaches. Ultimately, a padel school could see the light of day depending on demand.

A modern and versatile complex
With seven latest generation indoor courtsincluding a panoramic central court with stands, Smash Padel stands out as a future reference center in the Var.
The club is not limited to the game: it also includes relaxation areas, a restaurant, a meeting room for seminars and even a pétanque court.
The goal is clear: to make Smash Padel un real place of life, where sport mixes with the pleasure of getting together.
