A passionate entrepreneur based in Marrakech
Born in Algeria, Smail Chalal arrived in France at the age of 4. Coming from a family of merchants, he launched into entrepreneurship at a very young age: "I created my first company at 18," he says. His career path led him to develop various activities in transportation, hotels, real estate and restaurants.
It was during his regular stays in Marrakech, "about every three weeks to unwind from the intense daily life in France," that he fell under the spell of the ochre city. In 2013, he founded his group, which he can manage remotely, before settle permanently in Marrakech in 2016“I saw strong economic and human potential in this city. So I decided to invest there and develop my projects.”





The birth of Padel Square
It's thanks to his friends Armel and Mehdi, founders of Gravity Park, that Smail discovered the Cherifia site. “When I visited the place, I immediately saw its potential.” Already the owner of the venue Air Fitness Zone, located in the heart of Marrakech, he wishes to extend this philosophy of into the countryside. in a new neighborhood. From this desire is born Padel Square, a modern complex designed in collaboration with Armel and Mehdi, accompanied by a second conceptual gym.

"This first year has confirmed to me that padel is a sport on the rise. The enthusiasm is real, both among local players and international visitors."
