The second men's semi-final of the Premier Padel Rotterdam P1 turned to the advantage of Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galán (seeds No. 2), winners of Franco Stupaczuk and Juan Lebrón (n°3) in two sets, 6 / 3 7 / 5.

A one-way first round

Stronger from the start, Chingotto and Galán quickly took control of the game. Facing an Argentinian-Spanish pair often struggling on return points, the number 2s dominated the first set. 6/3 thanks to their consistency in service (65% of points won behind the serve).

Stupaczuk and Lebrón, on the other hand, only won 44% of the match points et 52% on their service, insufficient to worry a team full of confidence.

A more close second set

The second round offered more resistance. Stupa and Lebrón led 5/4 and even have served for the set, before giving in to a decisive service game perfectly anticipated by Chingotto and Galán. The Spanish-Argentines then concluded the match with a final break, 7/5, confirming their superiority in key moments.

Statistics illustrate this gap:

  • 65% of points earned on serve for Galán / Chingotto against 52% for Lebrón / Stupaczuk.
  • 48% of points won in return for the winners, against 35% for their opponents.
  • No double faults or aces in the match, but better management of second serves for the number 2s (86% against 50%).

Galán and Chingotto, a well-oiled machine

Already authors of five titles in 2025, Galán and Chingotto confirm their regularity with a 14nd semi-final disputed this season. They also consolidate their position as global 1 number, a status that is now well established.

For Lebron and Stupaczuk, this new elimination in the semi-final extends a mixed series: the pair has not reached a final since Valladolid in June, despite an increasingly balanced game.

Chingotto and Galán therefore continue their journey towards a new final, where they will try to add a sixth trophy to their already very consistent season against... Coello / Tapia.
