The final of 2025 French Wheelchair Padel Championships offered a real fight between the two best hexagonal pairs. On one side, Dorian Navarro (French No. 1) and Laurent Giammartini (n°4), on the other Sebastien Husser-Walther (n ° 3) and Tony Boval (n ° 5).

The match began as expected: Navarro and Giammartini took the lead thanks to the French No. 1. They logically won the first set 6-2. But the Husser-Walther/Boval duo was able to react immediately. More aggressive, more solid in the long rallies, they reversed the momentum to level the score at 1-2 (6-2).

In the third set, the tension rose a notch. Boval and Husser-Walther quickly took the lead to lead 5/3 thanks to Tony Boval who took the game into his own hands, but when it came to the end, they were broken. Hope was reborn for Navarro and Giammartini, before the Boval / Husser-Walther pair reacted immediately to take back the opposing serve and conclude the set 6/4 to win 2/6 6/2 6/4. They won their first French championship title and took revenge for last year when they lost in the final.

In the semi-finals, the logic had already been respected: Navarro / Giammartini (seeded 1) had eliminated Maxime Cabane / Vianney Martin (TS4), while Boval / Husser-Walther (TS2) had won against Kevin Piette / Nicolas Van Lerberghe (TS3)The final between the two best French pairs therefore lived up to expectations.

For the first time, Tony Boval and Sébastien Husser-Walther are sacred French wheelchair padel champions.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
