When for his All Star Padel References organized at Padel touchthe content creator Albano Padel spoke to the microphone of Padel Mag regarding its current activities and its partnership with Padel Reference and his brand new sporting project: a Tour de France for P250s unpublished.

A collaboration born in Bordeaux

Always smiling, Albano recounts the genesis of his connection with Padel reference :

"With Padel "Ref, we got in touch through the Bordeaux P2 this year, where they simply invited me. The connection happened naturally, and today it's a great partnership."

Present at the Avignon event, the influencer played along with the All Star game, not without humor:

"My first match? A 9-2 defeat against an Argentinian... well, just in first name!" he jokes.

A completely crazy challenge: 19 tournaments in 23 days

The YouTuber and ranked player 535th French announced the launch of a unique project: a national tour called the Tour de France of the P250s.

"Starting Thursday, I'm kicking things off in Lacanau. The goal is to do a Tour de France of P250s, a bit like the Tour de France cycling race. We'll be visiting private clubs, associations, and each time I'll be playing with a local member!"

The program is as dense as it is ambitious: 19 tournaments in 23 days, Lacanau in Marseille, Via Rennes, Caen, Reims, Paris, Tours, Saint-Étienne, Avignon and Toulon.

"In France, this has never been done. Even in Europe, I've looked, it's unheard of!"

A human adventure above all

Aware of the modest level of his partners, Albano approaches this tour with derision and lucidity:

"The average level? We're talking about the postal code of Lille, 35640! I'm going to be playing with guys who have postal codes instead of rankings. It's going to be tough, but the content will be funny and authentic."

More than just a sporting achievement, the creator wants to create a friendly and human adventure:

"There will be sharing and camaraderie; that's the spirit of the P250 Tour de France."

Objective: a victory and a new way of life

On the sporting front, Albano has set himself a modest but symbolic goal:

"Trying to go and get a single tournament "Out of 19. Considering my partners, that would already be huge!"

But behind this project, there is also a personal motivation:

"My lifestyle was a bit unhealthy, between parties and junk food. This tour is also a challenge for me: to sleep better, eat better, and stop going out."

The padel comedian claims he wants to adopt a new “mindset” :

"I feel like I'm in a new lifestyle. Maybe it will lead to a FIP project."

And what's next? A P2000 on the horizon…

Always ready to surprise, Albano hints that he is preparing a P2000, perhaps in Carquefou:

"I just took out a student loan... stay tuned, there might be a Spaniard coming!"

The appointment is therefore set. Tour de France of the P250s by Albano will begin this week, accompanied by a series of youtube videos and Instagram/TikTok real numbers to follow his journey day by day.

“Thank you to Padel Thanks to Mag and the whole team for the support. The adventure has only just begun!
