In a season marked by young rising stars like Martina Calvo ou Andrea Ustero, another player quietly establishes herself among the best in the world: Bea Caldera.
The Valladolid player, born in 2001, is having a good season alongside Carmen Goenaga, forming an explosive and daring pair that has invited itself into the top of the world rankings.

A solid season despite a slight dip

Finalists in Bordeaux in June, Caldera and Goenaga had come close to their first title on the circuit Premier Padel.
Since then, the results have become a little more irregular, but the sensations remain good:

"Overall, it's been a good season. Maybe we're not in our best moment in terms of results, but we feel good on the track," Caldera explains to BRAND.
“We are working well, we are calm, and the good results will return.”

Currently outside the top 8 qualifying for the Premier Padel Tour Finals, the Spanish pair still have every chance of securing a ticket to the grand final in Barcelona.

A late but brilliant maturity

Unlike other young talents who have made their mark very early, Bea Caldera has experienced a more gradual rise.

"Yes, I had doubts at one point, the feeling that I wasn't progressing as I wanted. But everyone has their own pace. Today, I am happy and proud of the progress I've made."

A lucid speech, which reflects the serenity of a player now established among the best right-wing players in the world.

Total complicity with Goenaga

If their understanding on the track is obvious, the relationship between Caldera et Goenaga is based above all on mutual trust:

"We get along very well, on and off the field. After matches, we talk a lot, we analyze. We don't have egos, we complement each other well."

A rare stability in a circuit marked by frequent separations.

"We're happy with what we're doing, we want to continue together. We know how padel is going, but for now, we're calm and happy."

The future ahead of her

Alongside her career, the Spanish player is pursuing studies inindustrial organization engineering in Valladolid:

“I have two more subjects to finish. I chose this path because my father and brother are engineers. I like it, but I can't wait to finish so I can devote myself fully to padel!”

A player to watch very closely

Hardworking, calm and ambitious, Bea Caldera is establishing himself as one of the most promising faces of Spanish padel.
His duet with Carmen Goenaga continues to seduce with its complementarity and audacity.
And if the young Spaniard remains in the shadow of the very best, everything suggests that she will not stay there for long.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
