The big upset of the women's quarter-finals has been signed  Manon Marcarie / Cassandra Senjean The 5th seed defeated  Lou Lambert Agosti / Kimy Barla (TS3)  at the end of a three-set match,  6/1 6/7 6/1 .

A quarter that was predicted to be one of the most open in the draw, and the scenario did not disappoint.

Marcarie / Senjean hit hard

Marcarie / Senjean started very strong by winning the first round  6/1 .

Lambert Agosti / Barla then responded in a much more contested second set, which they finally won in a tie-break.

But in the decisive round, TS5 regained the initiative and completely took control of the match to finish with a new  6/1 .

A great performance that allows them to reach the semi-finals.

Bahurel / Pothier hold their own

In the semi-final, Marcarie / Senjean will meet  Louise Bahurel / Lucile Pothier (TS2) .

The number 2 seed had to remain focused against  Steffi Merah / Élodie Invernon but manages to pull it off in two sets,  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

A controlled victory despite a close match, which allows them to continue their journey without conceding a set.

Dardaine/Mansart after a close match

In the lower part of the table,  Marie-Amélie Dardaine / Clara Mansart  They too had to fight.

Opposed to  Alice Hofer / Lisa Bognard They are essential.  6 / 3 7 / 6 .

The second set was much more contested, but Dardaine / Mansart were able to make the difference at the important moments to secure their place in the final four.

Touly / Godallier solid

Finally, the top contenders  Carla Touly / Léa Godallier (TS1)  have perfectly lived up to their reputation.

Facing  Julie Pecasteaux / Johanna Bougon They are essential.  6 / 3 6 / 0  in a match that was generally under control.

Touly / Godallier therefore arrive with confidence before a real test in the semi-final against Dardaine / Mansart.

The women's semi-finals

The final four will therefore pit:

Louise Bahurel / Lucile Pothier (TS2) vs Manon Marcarie / Cassandra Senjean (TS5)

Carla Touly / Léa Godallier (TS1) vs Marie-Amélie Dardaine / Clara Mansart

The meetings will be followed  directly on Padel MagTV .

After the big upset by Marcarie / Senjean in the quarterfinals, the hierarchy remains largely respected, but the women's draw still holds great promise before the semifinals.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
