Sébastien Husser-Walther / Tony Boval  They remain the leaders of French para-padel. The defending champions retained their crown at  French Championships 2026  dominating  Kevin Piette / Matthias Bergs  finally,  6 / 0 6 / 1 .

A one-sided final, perfectly controlled by the number 1 seed.

Only 7 unforced errors

The difference was particularly evident in the way errors were handled.

Piette/Bergs finish the match with  27 unforced errors , against only  7  for Husser-Walter / Boval.

A huge gap that perfectly sums up the mastery of the French champions.

The statistics on break points are equally telling:  6 opportunities obtained and 5 converted  for Husser-Walter / Boval.

On the other side, Piette/Bergs simply did not obtain  no break point .

Under these conditions, it is difficult to hope to reverse the trend.

A completely controlled final

From the very first games, the favorites take control.

Husser-Walther / Boval impose their rhythm, commit very few mistakes and constantly prevent their opponents from settling in.

The first set is playing:  6/0 .

The second set followed the same pattern. Piette/Bergs managed to win a game, but their dominance remained very clear.

6/1 and the title is retained.

A tournament dominated from start to finish

This final concludes an almost perfect tournament for Husser-Walther / Boval.

In the group stage, they had already cruised through with victories.  6 / 0 6 / 1  and  6 / 0 6 / 0 .

Their semi-final against  Nicolas Vanlerberghe / Christophe Saint-Paul  The first set had been a bit closer, but the favorites had still made the difference:  6 / 4 6 / 0 .

Their dominance throughout the tournament was therefore very clear.

Piette/Bergs, a pleasant surprise all the way to the final

Defeat is inevitably frustrating for  Kevin Piette / Matthias Bergs , but their journey remains a real success.

Seeded 5th, the pair reached the final by upsetting the hierarchy.

She had notably pulled off a major upset in the semi-final by defeating the  seeded 2 .

Reaching the final match of the French Championships is therefore already a very good performance for both players.

A second consecutive title

For Husser-Walther / Boval, the essentials are secured:  a second consecutive French championship title .

The absence this year of  Dorian Navarro / Laurent Giammartini , two references of French para-padel, inevitably opened up the picture further.

But they still had to live up to their status as favorites.

And Husser-Walther / Boval did it authoritatively.

Second title in a row and a final won 6/0 6/1: the reigning champions retain their crown without faltering.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
