Carla Toully  is now only one step away from  Main draw of the World Pairs Championships , held this week in Kuwait. In a duo with the Spanish player  Lucia Peralta Expósito  (79), the Frenchwoman (world No. 74) continues a solid run in these qualifications.

A controlled entry into the competition

Seeded fourth, the Franco-Spanish pair made a perfect start. They faced the Dutch team.  Bo Luttikhuis  et  Janine Hemmes Touly and Peralta emerged victorious.  6 / 4 6 / 3  after 1h22 of play.
They performed very well in their implementation ( 78% of points won on the serve ), they knew how to handle the important moments.

A qualification at stake against Casali and Cañellas

This Monday at  10h on court 3 Carla Touly and Lucia Peralta will play their  decisive match for the main draw  facing the pair  Carlotta Casali-Vannicelli (90) / Ariadna Cañellas-Rodero (76) , seeded No. 7.
On paper, the Franco-Spanish duo are slight favorites, but the duel promises to be a close one against an experienced Italian-Spanish pair.
