Little movement this week in the  FIP rankings This makes sense since there are no tournaments Premier Padel was not on the agenda. However, several adjustments are worth noting, particularly thanks to the results of the  FIP Platinum Lyon .

In the ladies,  Bea González regains 3rd place in the world whereas in men,  Fran Guerrero  et  Javi leal  are fully enjoying their Lyon title.

Bea González passes Ari Sánchez again

The main change for women concerns  Bea González , which recovers the  3th place in the world .

She walks past again  Ari Sánchez , now 4th. The previous week, Sánchez had regained this advantage, but the update of points related to the  Düsseldorf P2 2025  reshuffles the cards.

Ari Sánchez had reached the final in Germany last season and therefore had more points to defend. Bea González, on the other hand, had fewer to lose.

Result:  González regains third place , behind the two joint number 1s  Gemma Triay / Delfi Brea Ari Sánchez now appears in 4th place.

Martina Fassio gains a place after her final in Lyon

Another development in the women's category:  Martina Fassio  continues its progress.

Finalist of  FIP Platinum Lyon  with  Agueda Pérez Ortiz She gains a place and now occupies the  24th in the world rankings with 2,554 points .

His Lyon final earned him  180 FIP points which notably allows him to pass in front  Lucia Sainz .

Behind that, very few significant changes this week.

Fran Guerrero enters the world's top 11

Among men, the most significant progress concerns  Fran Guerrero .

Winner of  FIP Platinum Lyon  with Javi Leal, the Spaniard wins  two places  and climbs to  11th in the world rankings with 6,503 points .

A great deal, especially since it surpasses...  Coki Nieto  et  Martín Di Nenno .

The Lyon title brought in  300 FIP points  to the pair, after a final won against  Franco Stupaczuk / Jon Sanz .

Javi Leal reached 15th place

Same observation for  Javi leal .

Guerrero's partner gains a position and now finds himself  15th in the world with 5,286 points , his best career ranking.

He notably passes in front  Lucas Campagnolo .

Leal and Guerrero therefore emerge as the big winners of this week without Premier Padel : their second FIP Platinum title of the season allows them to continue to get closer to the very top places.

Few changes before Rotterdam

Apart from these changes, the hierarchy remains generally stable.

But this shouldn't last long since the  Rotterdam P2  is launching this week.

With important points to defend and a race to  Premier Padel Finals  which is becoming increasingly tight, the rankings could change again with the next update.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
