Their partnership had been known for several weeks, but only the official announcement was needed. That has now been done:  Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo  will compete together on the circuit Premier PadelTo announce their new adventure, the two Spanish women chose a video full of humor, reflecting their youth.

An announcement that brings back memories of school days.

No more classic photoshoots or simple social media posts. Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo opted for an original approach to unveil their new pair.

In a short video, the two players appear with backpacks slung over their shoulders, like two students heading to class. Seated in a classroom, they exchange short notes written on a torn sheet of paper, as one might have done in school. The question is simple:  "Do you want to be my partner?" , before the answer came a few moments later.

A light and unconventional way to formalize an already highly anticipated partnership.

 Youth in power

This wink is not insignificant. Between the two of them,  Claudia Fernández (20 years old)  et  Martina Calvo (18 years old)  They embody the new generation of Spanish women's padel.

Both have already demonstrated that they have what it takes to compete with the best players in the world despite their young age. Their partnership also symbolizes a desire to build a long-term project, with two players destined to make their mark in the coming years.

A new adventure after Ortega and Araújo

This new association was created after the end of their previous projects.  Claudia Fernández  brought his adventure alongside  Sofia Araújo , While  Martina Calvo  separates from  Marta Ortega Ironically, their two former partners will now play together, with the pairing being reformed.  Marta Ortega / Sofia Araújo .

The women's transfer window has thus reshuffled the cards, giving rise to two new associations that are particularly anticipated for the rest of the season.

The challenge of shaking up the top of the rankings

Talent is not lacking, but the challenge is immense. Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo will now have to develop their teamwork and gain experience if they hope to trouble the three pairs that currently dominate the women's circuit.

At just 20 and 18 years old, they have all the time they need to grow together. Their complementary skills, their carefree attitude, and their potential already make this partnership one of the most promising on the circuit.

While the hierarchy seems firmly established today, this new pair could well represent the future of women's padel and become, in the years to come, one of its most emblematic faces.
