Since 20 December, Courchevel 1850 officially inaugurated two new permanent padel courtsinstalled at the foot of the Émile Allais slalom stadium, facing theINEOS Club HouseA strategic location that positions padel in the very heart of the station, in an environment emblematic of mountain sports.
Located at 1 meters above sea levelThese facilities are among the highest permanent padel courts in FranceThey take place directly on the Three Valleys area, recognized as the world's largest ski areaconfirming Courchevel's desire to diversify its sporting offering beyond traditional winter sports.
A sports offer accessible all year round
This project has been imagined by Courchevel Tourism, with the support of Courchevel Sports Club, Town hall, and in partnership with LacosteThis is part of a broader trend observed in many Alpine resorts: to offer sports activities in all four seasonscapable of appealing to both permanent residents and passing visitors.
The two fields are open every day from 9am to 21pmallowing for practice both during the day and in the evening. They are accessible to all audiences Holidaymakers, locals, experienced players, or simply curious individuals wishing to discover padel in an unusual setting. The courts can also be privatized via the Courchevel Sports Club, particularly for events, activities or supervised sessions.

Facilities designed for winter conditions
Designed to meet the climatic constraints of the mountains, these slopes benefit from a ecological geothermal heating systemThis device helps to guarantee a playing surface usable all year round, including during the winter months, while limiting energy impact facilities.
This technical choice is part of a broader approach to sustainable management of sports facilities, an increasingly central issue for high-altitude resorts facing environmental challenges.
The padel fan Dasha Dvoretskaya obviously did not hesitate to take advantage of it.
A new racquet sports section at the Sports Club
The arrival of padel in Courchevel coincides with the creation, by the Courchevel Sports Club, An new section dedicated to racket sportsThis development complements an offering historically focused on skiing and mountain disciplines, and accompanies the rise of rapidly growing sports activities, such as padel, whose number of players continues to increase in France.

An iconic partnership with Lacoste
Beyond the sporting aspect, the project is based on a strong partnership with Lacoste, which ensures the naming of the space. A Courchevel x Lacoste co-branded clothing collection will soon be offered within the Sports Club shop, as well as at several of the station's professional partners.
Un Exclusive Lacoste corner will also be set up within the INEOS restaurantoffering a setting dedicated to the brand's universe. A collaboration that combines sporting heritage, elegance and the art of living, in line with Courchevel's high-end image.
