Playing on the Philippe-Chatrier court, facing a professional pair, and trying to walk away with €10,000. That's the challenge launched by the French Tennis Federation with  "Clubs at Chatrier" An event that will accompany the 2026 edition of the Alpine Paris Major. An initiative that places FFT clubs at the heart of the event.

A competition open to all FFT clubs

The FFT invites affiliated clubs to organize their own qualifying tournament between the  June 15th and August 15th The objective is simple: to allow a mixed pair to secure their place in the final phase draw.

To participate, clubs simply need to register via the form provided by the Federation, before organizing their tournament in a deliberately accessible format.

The operation was conceived to develop recreational competition while creating a direct link with the biggest padel event organized in France.

The winners of each qualifying tournament will not automatically become finalists. They will first participate in a draw that will determine the  31 amateur pairs  called upon to live this exceptional experience.

Le  September 6 At the opening of the Alpine Paris Major, these 31 teams will join a  professional pair  in a knockout tournament held on the track  Philippe-Chatrier , usually reserved for the biggest tennis events and, for several years, for the Paris Major padel tournament.

To make the competition spectacular, the FFT opted for a very dynamic format:  a single service  and  matches to two winning points guaranteeing short, intense encounters open to all scenarios.

Beyond the unique experience of playing in one of the most prestigious venues in French sport, participants will also be aiming for a major reward.

The pair that wins the final bracket will leave with  10 000 euros , to be shared between the two players.

But the stakes go far beyond the financial aspect. As the FFT points out, this operation should allow amateur players to  "To compete against the best in the discipline"  while experiencing an extraordinary day.

With  "Clubs at Chatrier" The Federation also wishes to mobilize local structures.

Organising a qualifying stage represents an opportunity to liven up club life, to bring members together around a unifying event and to introduce padel to new players.
