An injury that puts a stop to his progress

In a heartfelt message, he shared his state of mind at the moment of the shock:
"I suffered one of the worst possible injuries… I have no words to describe what I'm feeling, a mix of anger and sadness. I'm going to give everything to recover as quickly as possible and get back to the top."
A wave of support from the circuit
Players, coaches, and friends flocked to him to send messages of encouragement. This massive support means a great deal, as he explains:
“A huge thank you to everyone who was with me in Acapulco: helping me shower, get dressed, travel… and smiling when it was impossible. Thank you also to everyone who sent me messages: it means a lot.”
Padel will see him again: it remains to be seen when.
For now, the player will have to face one of the most demanding challenges for an athlete.
A serious injury, a broken spirit, but an undiminished determination.
The circuit will wait for him, and Diego Gil has already promised: he will return. to the maximumwith the desire to show that this breakup is just a setback in his career.
