On seeds 1 and 2 will be there for the final of the P1500 Cedar Side Club of CastresThe favorites held their own this Sunday morning, in semi-finals with a very different scenario.
Denecheau and Ros without trembling
Jennifer Denecheau and Mélanie Ros (TS1) were logically imposed 6 / 2 6 / 4 face Berecoechea and IturinoVery solid, the favorites controlled the exchanges from start to finish, carried by a Jennifer Denecheau impressive, author of 20 winning points on her own.
Opposite, Ainhoa Berecoechea delivered a great performance, but the step was a little too high. A superb performance nonetheless for the Basque pair, who left Castres with honors.
Maligo and Marcarie in the mind
In the other semi-final, Marie Maligo and Manon Marcarie (TS2) had to fight to overcome by Bognard and Hoffer (TS3) : 7/5 4/6 6/3.
A close match, played for nearly two hours, where both players showed a lot of character to reach a final together.
A final that promises to be explosive
The final will therefore oppose Denecheau / Ros (TS1) à Maligo / Marcaria (TS2), a clash between the two most consistent pairs of the weekend.
A slight advantage perhaps to the number 1s, physically fresher after a quick semi-final, while Maligo and Marcaria come out of a long fight.
Final to be followed live on Padel TV Mag from 14 p.m.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
