Big disappointment on the part of  FIP Bronze Marnes .  Thomas Leygue The French number 2 will ultimately not participate in the tournament. The Frenchman has just announced his withdrawal, due to...  discomfort felt by his partner Jesús Moya  at the FIP Bronze Madrid last week.

It's bound to be frustrating given the dynamic between the duo. For their reunion, nearly a year after their last collaboration was interrupted by the serious injury of  Thomas Leygue the two players had achieved a  very big tournament in Madrid .

Leygue and Moya had reached the FIP Bronze final after four straight-set victories, including a strong performance in the semi-final against  Daniel Santigosa / Ramiro Valenzuela , two players in the world's top 100.

They ultimately lost in the final against the wild cards  Javier Collantes / Asier Martínez , but the overall assessment remained largely positive for Leygue's return alongside the Spaniard.

Only,  Jesús Moya experienced discomfort during the Madrid tournament The pair therefore preferred not to take any risks and withdrew from the FIP Bronze tournament in Marnes.

A forfeit that changes the game in Marnes

The disappointment is significant for  Thomas Leygue who makes no secret of his frustration at missing this French event. He and Moya were  seeded 3  and were clearly among the candidates capable of winning the title.

Their withdrawal therefore opens up this part of the draw even more, as several French pairs could have found themselves in their path.

Leygue and Moya expected at Roland-Garros

The good news is that their partnership should resume soon.  Leygue confirmed that he fully intends to be present at the Paris Major at Roland-Garros , always alongside Jesús Moya.

The pair will be  seed 7 in qualifying  and will try to secure his place in the main draw.

This is bound to be a special match for Thomas Leygue. After the frustration of Marnes,  The goal now is to arrive at Roland-Garros in the best possible condition. , for one of the most important tournaments of the season for the Frenchman.
