The qualifications of the  FIP Bronze Marnes  delivered their verdict this Thursday morning. Four pairs secured their place directly in the main draw, while  two lucky losers  take advantage of the packages that have appeared in the table.

Marie/Filho defeat Choppe/Inzerillo after a hard-fought battle

This was one of the posters to watch in Q3.  Jules Marie / Clément Filho (TS1)  had to fight three sets to overcome  Victor Choppe / Jérôme Inzerillo (TS6)  :  7/6 3/6 6/3 .

After winning a tight first set, Marie and Filho saw their opponents level the match at one set apiece before regaining the lead in the third. The top seed in qualifying thus lives up to expectations and advances to the main draw.

Disappointment on the other hand for  Choppe / Inzerillo . During the first edition of the FIP Bronze Marnes, they had benefited from a lucky loser place.  No second chance this time. , since the two available places go to other pairs.

Thomas/Chevillard, another big coup

The beautiful story of these qualifications is signed  Setodji Thomas / Arthur Chevillard Having already caused an upset in the previous round against  Benjamin Dufour / Raphaël Rubio (TS3) They did it again in Q3.

Opposed to  Thomas Mitjana / Thibault De Galbert Having defeated the 5th seed in the previous round, Thomas and Chevillard prevailed.  6/1 3/6 6/1 .

Another great performance for a pair who started far down the qualifying rankings.  Thomas/Chevillard have therefore secured another victory against players from the French top 100.  and earn a well-deserved place in the main table.

Potel/Etienne wins in a nail-biting finish, Motz/Coulombeau solid

In the other major fight of the morning,  Lucas Potel / Natan Etienne (TS7)  defeated the second-seeded Israeli team  Aaron Cohen / Noam Cohen ,  6/4 4/6 6/4 .

Finally  Alexis Coulombeau / Julien Motz (TS4)  held their own perfectly against  Paul Lefevre / Kevin Guguin , with a victory  6 / 4 6 / 2 .

The four pairs that qualified directly are therefore  Marie / Filho, Thomas / Chevillard, Potel / Etienne and Coulombeau / Motz The official table confirms their inclusion in the first round.

Two lucky losers were given a second chance.

With the packages of  Thomas Leygue / Jesús Moya  et  Maxime Joris / Bastien Blanqué Two additional places have become available.

They return to  Thomas Mitjana / Thibault De Galbert  and to the Israelis  Aaron Cohen / Noam Cohen Having been defeated in Q3, the two pairs will therefore finally have another opportunity in the main draw.
