On French women have started their tournament perfectly au FIP Bronze Poreč-Parenzo (Croatia) with two clear and uncontested victories in the first round.

Touly and Peralta as bosses

Seeded 1, Carla Toully et Lucía Peralta Expósito did not tremble for their entry into the competition. Opposed to the Austrians Alexandra Pils et Nina Duernberger, they delivered a demonstration: 6 / 1 6 / 1.
A victory which confirms their status as favorites of the tournament. In quarter-finals, planned not before 17 a.m. (French time) on the short 3, they will face the Croatians Lea Jurković et Martina Minetti, a duel within their reach.

Merah and Dardaine without forcing

For their part, the pair Steffi Merah / Marie-Amélie Dardaine, seeded 3, also took place. The Tricolores dominated Lea Subotic / Marija Mirosavljevic on the score of 6 / 2 6 / 1, without ever being worried.
They will meet the Italians in the quarter-finals Letizia Dell'Agnese / Camilla Ronchini, seeded 5or a 17h on court 4.

Towards an all-French semi-final?

If logic is respected, the two French pairs could meet in the semi-final tomorrow, for a place in the final of the Croatian tournament.
Touly and Peralta are the clear favorites, while Merah and Dardaine will have to raise their game to overcome a strong Italian duo.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
