Paul Rolandi Porcel continues to rack up titles on the FIP Promises circuit. Elda The young Frenchman has once again established himself in the U12 category alongside the Spaniard Tello Buitron Olcina .
As the number 1 seeds, the Franco-Spanish pair lived up to their status perfectly to secure a ninth title in nine tournaments played together this season in U12 .
A rather impressive series for Rolandi Porcel, who further confirms his consistency at the highest level of his category.
A run without losing a set
Exempt from the first round, Rolandi Porcel / Buitron Olcina have made a perfect start to their tournament in the round of 16.
Facing the South Africans Kruz Billson / Kai Billson , they impose themselves 6 / 3 6 / 2 and quietly join the shifts.
The level then increases, but the result remains the same.
In the quarter-finals, the number 1 seeds dominate Neyzan Saboreo Albelda / Sergi Ruiz Villalon (TS5) on the score of 6 / 3 6 / 4 .
A controlled semi-final
In the final four, Rolandi Porcel / Buitron Olcina meet again Quique Sedze Alda / Joaquin Lencina , seeded 3.
Once again, the Franco-Spanish pair left no room for doubt and prevailed. 6 / 0 6 / 3 .
On to the final, with so far no set conceded .
A final against the number 2 seed
The two favorites in the standings will face off for the title.
Facing Alessandro Cullari / Hugo Garcia Gomez (TS2) Rolandi Porcel and Buitron Olcina achieved a perfect first set, which they won. 6/0 .
The second one is much more contested.
Cullari and Garcia Gomez hung on and pushed the Franco-Spanish pair to a tie-break, but the number 1 seeds finished the job to win. 6/0 7/6(9) .
The table thus confirms a tournament won without losing a single set , with four wins after their initial bye.
Nine tournaments, nine titles
This success in Elda extends a series that began at the start of the season.
In August, during the FIP Promises El Prat de Barcelona Paul Rolandi Porcel and Tello Buitron Olcina had already increased their balance sheet to seven titles in seven U12 tournaments , with a final won 6/1 6/2.
A few weeks earlier, they had also won the FIP Promises Paris by WME Sports in Lésigny. Already seeded number 1, the pair had dominated in the final Hugo Garcia Gomez / Sergi Ruiz Villalon 6/4 6/2 .
They were also among the winners of the FIP Promises Mérida in spring.
In Elda, the dynamic therefore remains unchanged: Nine appearances in the U12 category this season with Buitron Olcina, nine titles .
And already performing well in U14
The weekend is all the more interesting for Paul Rolandi Porcel that he was also involved in U14 .
In the top category, the Frenchman managed to reach the quarter-finals , meaning two categories contested in the same tournament and yet another solid result against older players.
At only this stage of his training, Paul Rolandi Porcel continues to establish himself as one of the young French players to watch very closely. : dominant in U12 and already capable of achieving results in the next age category.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
