Direction Cairo for FIP Rise with, today, the first meeting in this tournament for  three tricolor players , on the Egyptian slopes. From 18 p.m. (17 p.m. French time), the three French representatives will take to the carpet to try to secure a place in the second round.

On court 1, from 18 p.m., it’s  Philemon Raichman  who will be found alongside the Dutch Thijs Roper (277). The Franco-Dutch pair will be opposed to a local duo: Sherif Mohamed Makhlouf (422) / Aley Shokeir (475). A meeting where Phil and Thijs will be favorites.

At the same time, on court 2, they are  Thomas Vanbauce  et  Arthur Hugounenq  which we will find associated. A 100% French pair which will also face a 100% Egyptian pair: Omar Tarek (627) / Khaled Nagy (392). Here again, the French duo will start as favorites for this meeting!

Among the women, there will be only one French pair, who will start among the favorites of the tournament, as seeded 2. These are: Elodie Invernon  et  Wendy Barsotti . However, we will have to wait until tomorrow to see the two players in action as there will be no women's match today!

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court.
