The second day of  FIP Silver Caen qualifications  delivered its verdict this Tuesday at  PadelShot Mondeville , with the decisive matches of the  second round synonyms of  qualification for the final draw .
And overall, this day has once again  smiles at the French , between confirmations, great performances… and a rather tasty repechage.

 Lefevre/Chouchaoui are solid, Marie/Filho too

On  track 1 ,  Paul Lefevre / Mehdi Chouchaoui  left no chance  Alban Mounier Alonso / Jimmy Devaux , imposing  6 / 1 6 / 1 A total domination, from beginning to end, which makes them  the first qualifiers  of these qualifications.

In the wake,  Jules Marie / Clément Filho  confirmed their excellent momentum. Victory  6 / 3 6 / 4  face  Paumard / Durieux , and above all a  first qualification for the FIP main draw  for both players.

Choppe/d'Harcourt's good move, Piombo/Dumoulin on point

On  track 2 The best deal of the day has been signed  Victor Choppe / Armand d'Harcourt , which bring down the  seeded 1 in the qualifiers ,  Chacon Diaz / Marquet , on the score of  6 / 4 7 / 5 A great victory that opens the doors to the main draw for them.

In the final, decisive match,  Tristan Piombo / Arthaud Dumoulin  They lived up to expectations. Victory  6 / 3 6 / 4  face  De Galbert / Durban , and a logical qualification for the  seed 2 in qualifying with style.

And the lucky loser… obviously Albano

The icing on the cake: a  lucky loser pair  integrates the final table following the  Rouanet/Grué forfeit .
And the draw determined…  Alban Mounier Alonso (“Albano Padel”) and Jimmy Devaux .

An almost too perfect scenario. Soundly beaten in the second round, but  drafted in at the last minute Some will call it chance, others a  brilliant strategy  : not to exhaust yourself in the second match in order to arrive  fresh as ever  in the final table.

Also worth noting is the integration of a second  lucky loser  in the final table:  Thibault De Galbert and Cyril Durban , who were also given a second chance after their elimination in the qualifiers.

Le  final table of the FIP Silver Caen  is now complete, with a strong French presence and some already enticing stories even before the first round.

Here is the final table with the qualifiers and the lucky losers:

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
