While the majority of French women who took part this week chose the  FIP Platinum Lyon ,  Camille Sireix  took a different direction by aligning itself with  FIP Silver Houten , in the Nederlands.

A different choice, but one that offers him a real opportunity to continue to accumulate matches and points on the international circuit.

A very complicated first round

Associated with the Dutch  Tess de Vocht Camille Sireix came very close to being eliminated as soon as she entered the competition.

Facing the Belgians  Rune Vierendeels / Linn Poels The Franco-Dutch pair had to fight until the very end to secure the victory.  5/7 6/3 6/3 .

A real battle, with the first set lost before managing to turn the tide.

Sireix / De Vocht therefore narrowly avoided the trap and secured their place in the round of 16.

A huge challenge against the 3rd seed

And this time, the level is clearly going to go up a notch.

In the round of 16, Camille Sireix and Tess de Vocht will meet again  seeded 3 Aida Martinez / Natividad Lopez Diaz .

A much higher-ranked pair, consisting of  two players in the world's top 70 .

On paper, the difference is therefore real.

But after already having to fight for their qualification through sheer willpower in the first round, Sireix and De Vocht will have the opportunity to play without pressure against one of the tournament's top pairs.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
