Le FIP Silver Narbonne will make his return from 15th - 21th June 2026 au Silk Sets Padel Narbonne After a first edition that was unanimously praised in 2025, the French tournament is preparing to take a new step forward.
With a strategic date change, moving from mid-July to mid-June, and especially without any tournament Premier Padel programmed in parallel , all the conditions seem to be in place to attract an even higher level of competition.
A first edition that made a lasting impression.
Last year, Narbonne made a successful entry onto the international circuit.
The players particularly appreciated the quality of the facilities, the playing conditions, and the overall organization. On the sporting side, the spectacle was also there, with the crowning of Juanlu Esbrí and José Antonio Diestro , winners of a controlled final against Marcel Font and Iago Fuertes.
The tournament also allowed the French public to discover the immense talent of Iago Fuertes , then only 15 years old, author of an exceptional run to the final.
The French were not to be outdone, having reached the semi-finals of Bastien Blanqué / Johan Bergeron , the quarter-finals of Yoan Boronad / Timéo Fonteny or the women's final of Carla Touly and Camila Fassio .
Maxi Sánchez and Juani Rubini are already registered.
And the first big announcement of this 2026 edition is already known.
The former world number 1 Maximiliano Sánchez will be present in Narbonne. The Argentinian will form a highly anticipated team with Juan Ignacio Rubini , one of the big revelations of the moment on the circuit.
At just 19 years old, Rubini is on the rise. In recent weeks, he has been stringing together impressive performances on Premier Padel and remains in particular on a very good run at Buenos Aires P1 , where the Sánchez/Rubini pair had eliminated Libaak / Chozas before pushing Yanguas / Stupaczuk in their entrenchments.
Between Maxi Sánchez's experience and the young Argentinian's youthful energy, this pairing promises to be one of the tournament's attractions.
A strong French presence has already been announced.
The inscriptions also reveal a significant French contingent.
Among the first pairs involved are:
- Adrien Maigret / Johan Bergeron
- Thomas Vanbauce / Philemon Raichman
- Julien Biron / Thomas Seux
- Romain Sichez / Nathan Lambrechts
- Raphaël Rubio / Louis Jover
- Hugo Cazaban / Nicolas Trancart
- Pierre Vincent / François Authier
These partnerships should allow French players to compete against top-tier international competition in front of their home crowd.

A plateau that is expected to strengthen
And this is probably just the beginning.
Registration is still open and several top-level players could complete the lineup in the coming days.
With the already confirmed presence of Maxi Sánchez , the rise of Juani Rubini a large French contingent and the absence of competition Premier Padel, all the ingredients seem to be there to make a FIP Silver Narbonne 2026 one of the major events of the early summer on the FIP Tour.
One year after a successful first edition, Narbonne already seems ready to take things to the next level.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
