Double fault on break point!

Between Lebron / Di Nennon and Galan / Chingotto, big poster of this day, The debates begin on a gentle slope. The two teams contain each other and the exchanges are balanced. At 2-2, Chingalan nevertheless manages to take the lead: successful break on Di Nenno's serve! In the process, Ale Galan wins his service game. The passes of arms which take place in the left diagonal turn rather to the advantage of the Madrilenian.

The fact of play of this first set occurs while "Chingalan" leads 4 games to 2. On Lebron's serve, the TS2 of this Greenweez Paris Major gets a break point. El Lobo misses the first one and, on the second one, commits a foot fault which the chair umpire signals immediately. Lebron protest, animations in the public who remained in number on the Philippe-Chatrier… The revisualization of the scene by the video referees gives the head referee the right: double break! Boiling, Juan Lebron then leaves the match and Chingotto / Galan only has to conclude: 6/2 in less than 40 minutes. The harvest is meager for Di Nenno and Lebron, who total only 9 winning points, or twice less than their opponents! For his part, Lebron has a total of 6 direct errors, that is to say as many as Galan and Chingotto combined.

Spectacular points

The second set begins as we feel "El Lobo" still ruminating. On Galan's serve, as he prepares to cock his arm, Lebron addresses him. Chingotto immediately intervenes to ask for the match to go smoothly. For his part, Galan doesn't say a word and seems to want to answer on the track itselfThe exchanges are long but "Chingalan" has the last word thanks to a great Ale Galan evening. After a quarter of an hour of play in this second set, the dolphins of Tapia / Coello break away 3-0.

Led 15/40 on Chingotto's service the following game, they came back to level (notably with a back volley door Galan's backhand) but cannot prevent the Lebronesque fury: 3 games to 1 under the cries of an overexcited public... The game is electric and the points spectacular, as illustrated by Chingotto's retro volley 30 all over Lebron's game. Chingalan gets 2 break points there but does not prevent El Lobo et The Turk to win the case. Di Nenno even allows himself the luxury of not having not committed a single direct error since the start of the match.

Two new facts of the game on match balls

But tonight, nothing stops Chingalan. TS2 pocketed a new break at 5/2 and concluded this semi-final on the service of Fede Chingotto, at least as imperial this evening as his compatriot Di Nenno. However, it was necessary two new game facts to seal this evening not quite like the others : after the first match point, Ale Galan hits a winning smash on Lebron, who indicates that he touched the ball with his racket. Result: point to replay. On this one, a new video verification is needed for Galan's smash to be validated. Final result: 6/2 6/2 in 1h22.

Tomorrow, Galan / Chingotto will try to take the upper hand on the kings of this second part of the season for their 13th final in 13 tournaments (5 titles)). They will have to be at least as incisors that tonight: the last time they beat them was in Genoa… on July 7th.
