Dylan Guichard and Bastien Blanqué are back together for the occasion of Miami P1 qualifiers , with a clear objective: go get the final table .
A duo that has already shown some things
The two Frenchmen are not starting from scratch. At the beginning of the season, they had already delivered a strong performance at the Riyadh P1 , after coming through the qualifying rounds.
They then made a lasting impression by beating Dominguez / Belluati in the first round, before delivering a historic match against Tapia / Coello , by taking a set from them. A benchmark performance that confirmed their potential at this level.
Guichard in search of a comeback
For its part, Dylan Guichard had just been eliminated at second round of Cancún P2 qualifiers , next to Diego Dorta Diaz .
This return with Blanked This therefore marks a desire to start again on a more positive dynamic, in a context they already know.
A first round within their reach
To kick off their tournament, the French will face Ferran Gonzalez Zamorano / Juan Francisco Gonzalez .
A match that looks winnable on paper, but one that will require seriousness to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
The meeting is scheduled for 9 p.m. (local time) on the short 2 i.e 14h in France .
A challenging second round in case of victory
If successful, Guichard / Blanqué would find the seed 3 in qualifying , Benitez / Ortega , with a place in the prize being secured final table .
A real test lies ahead, but before that, we will need to... validate the first round .
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
