HEAD adds to its padel catalogue the new Speed series, the fastest and most versatile in its collection, with four high-performance models: Speed Pro X, Speed Pro, Speed Motion and Speed Elite.
As the campaign slogan states, “Alpha is now Speed“, the Austrian brand presents Speed, the new collection of HEAD padel rackets which replaces the Alpha range which will have spent six years in its catalog. The launch of “Speed” goes well beyond a simple name change, since this new series incorporates new technologies, new features and new physiognomy.
The new Speed Series becomes HEAD’s most versatile series, offering the player both control and power, as well as maneuverability for a faster and more varied game. The Speed collection, shaped like a teardrop, is equipped with Auxetic technology for better impact feel and is designed with Power Foam rubber for maximum power on every shot. As a new feature, the Speed palas incorporate a soft cap on the handle for increased comfort.
In addition to being a completely new series, the collection includes, in addition to the Pro, Motion and Elite models, a new model, even more premium, if possible, with the racket Speed Pro X, which stands out from the others by integrating 12K carbon into its striking surface.

The Speed series is worn by the world No. 1, Ariana Sanchez. The player will make her model debut Speed-Motion in the last tournament of the season, the Master Finals. According to Ari: “ Without a doubt, the Speed series will mark a before and after in the HEAD collection of palas. The Speed Motion offers me high performance in offensive and defensive shots. It offers control, power and maneuverability. Not to mention its design… For me, the Speed Motion is the most elegant racket I have ever seen. "

The new Speed series includes a total of 6 models of palas, with different characteristics so that each player can decide which one best suits their game. We will detail them below.

Speed Pro X
Speed Pro X (375g) is the top of the range model of the Speed series developed by and for the professional or high level player. This very versatile model offers superior levels of control and performance thanks to its 12K carbon striking surface.
Speed Pro
Ideal for competitive level players looking for a maneuverable and versatile racquet, the Speed Pro allows the player to be a tenth of a second faster thanks to its weight (370 g). Five grams lighter than the previous model, in addition to a striking surface designed with fiberglass and carbon for more flexibility.
Speed-Motion
The Speed Motion is the lightest racquet in the new Speed series. The Motion model (360 g) has been designed with a hybrid striking surface (carbon and fiberglass) and Auxetic technology. It is ideal for professional players looking for versatility and maneuverability.
Speed Elite
The Speed Elite is built for speed and maneuverability. The Elite model has a softer fiberglass hitting surface, ideal for mid to high level players looking for more comfort in the game.
In addition to the four main palas presented above, the Speed series also includes, with the same design in gray, black and bronze tones, the Speed EVO, for beginners, and Speed Junior for those who are beginning to familiarize themselves with this sport.
