The 2025 edition of the Italy Major is currently taking place in the Italian capital, Rome. In 2024, at the Women, it's the pair Sanchez / Josemaria and among men, the pair Galan / Chingotto which had been titled. Who will be the new winners in 2025?

La third day started this Thursday June 12. Including the highly anticipated match between Tapia / Coello et Diestro / Esbrí, planned for 20h on the central court.

Fast women's final in 2024

Last year the ladies final had been won by the pair Sanchez / Josemaria (Ts1) against Sainz / Llaguno (Ts8).

Unfortunately for the spectators present in the stands, there had been no no suspense, with a quick victory (6/1 6/0) in just 54 minutes.

Statistics confirm this domination: Sanchez / Josemaria have converted 83% their break balls, which explains the severe score At the end of the match.

A three-set clash in the men's race

In the men's category, the 2024 final was on the opposite side of the ladies. The pair Chingotto / Galan (Ts2) managed to beat Coello / Tapia (Ts1) in three sets : 6/4, 1/6, 6/1.

The match lasted almost two hours and was very balanced : 49% points won for Chingotto / Galán against 51% for Coello / Tapia, with rates of break point conversion respective of 43% et 44%.

A 2025 edition full of surprises?

For this 2025 edition, will we witness a surprise as well as among the Women than among men, with new titled pairs in Rome?

With the defeats of several seeded players, everything seems possible in this edition already rich in twists !
