A nice little nod this week on the  FIP Tour  with the return of  Jérémy Scatena  on the grounds.

French, today  1238th in the world , is committed to  FIP Bronze Elche  alongside a face he knows very well:  Nicolás Suescun  ( 173th in the world ), his former partner… and friend.

A pair who already know each other very well

This return inevitably has a special flavor, since  Scatena  et  suescun  have already shared the track in the past, notably during the time of the  World Padel Tour .

The two players had notably enjoyed some impressive runs together, such as at  Master of Cascais  or the  WPT Paris Challenger .

It goes without saying that this is not an impromptu association.

A return that is first and foremost about “pleasure”

This should obviously not be seen as a real full-time return to the circuit.

Today,  Jérémy Scatena  is much less active in sports and mainly focuses his energy on his projects outside of competition, notably with  100% Padel , his company specializing in padel courts.

This appearance in Spain therefore looks more like a  a moment of pleasure , time to play in a tournament again with a loved one and to rediscover some of the sensations of competition.

 A welcome return

Even if temporary, this return is still good news for those who have been following French padel for several years.

Because  Scatena  He remains an important figure in the development of French padel, and seeing the former French number 1 back in action at an international tournament inevitably has a special flavor.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
