On number 1 and 2 French, Alix Collombon et Léa Godallier, have validated their ticket for the final of the French Championships 2025 à Casa Padel Tres (Kingersheim). But they had to adapt to the offensive play de Marie-Amelie Dardaine et Camille Sireix, who knew how to surprise them in a close first set before giving in.
A tricky first set
input, Dardaine and Sireix put the pressure on. Thanks to a Camille Sireix, powerful, they take advantage in particular of the direct errors of Godallier to break at 1/1. The favorites are then forced to find solutions and adapt. Collombon takes things in hand, which allows his team to break. But until 5/4, the duo is never completely safe, pushed around by the offensive qualities of their opponents. Finally, with a last-ditch effort, the favorites snatch the set 6/4.
The favorites roll out
Once they had adapted to the set pace, Collombon and Godallier imposed their law. In the second set, they raised their voices and inflicted a severe 6/0The difference was made in particular thanks to a great Alix Collombon: 24 winning points against only 2 unforced errors. This consistency turned the match around.

A dream finale
Victory 6/4 6/0 for the favorites, who join Carla Touly and Jessica Ginier in the final. As in 2024, the poster will be the same, but the story could be different. Collombon and Godallier arrive a little worn out after their FIP Platinum at the start of the week, while Touly and Ginier seem full of confidence. One thing is certain: the long-awaited final is here.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
