The final leg of the 2025 Major Tour offered a packed week, a full schedule, and several closely contested matches in front of enthusiastic crowds. It provided an opportunity to take stock of the sporting and organizational aspects before the transition to the 2026 season.

Jérémy Gala, a recurring theme throughout the season

Over the course of the tournaments, Jérémy Gala has established himself as one of the most consistent players on the circuit. His year was highlighted by two titles won with Dominique Coene, as well as a third victory alongside Maxime Deloyer. Even when he doesn't take home the trophy, he remains a contender in the later rounds, as evidenced by his semi-final loss in a third set with Bram Coene and his quarter-final appearance with Dominique.

The only interruption was his injury at the Wel Padelwhich forced him to abandon the race. At the start of the season, in Athois Le PadelHe played on the right wing in fast-paced conditions and managed to hold his own against those who would go on to win the tournament. At the Bertransart Sports Centre, a tactical adjustment during the tournament allowed him to get back on track. His partnership with Dominique Coene remains one of the defining elements of his year.

Close matches and contrasting journeys

The top seeds, Gilles Stas and Semal Robin, were eliminated in the round of 16 after losing a super tie-break to Xander De Wever and Louis Derouck (seeded 8). Mickey Guerin and Jimmy Barbieux also advanced in the round of 16 with a victory over Matthieu Lambert and Guillaume Watteeuw (seeded 5), before falling to the eventual winners.

For Arthur Vanopbroeke, the return to competition was not easy. After winning the first round, he and Jérémy De Bodt lost in the quarter-finals against Jérôme Peeters — returning after injury — and François Azzola.

At the bottom of the draw, Nathan Lambrechts and Arthur De Greef played a series of close matches until the final, where they were stopped by a break and a tie-break by Maxime Deloyer and Arnaud Meessen.

Women's draw: the favorites are in contention

In the women's competition, the top-seeded pair, fourth at the last European Championships with the Belgian team, won the title once again. In the final, Roxane Lacroix and Lynn Vanhoof were unable to turn the tide. Roxane Lacroix is also continuing her training periods in Spain to prepare for her progression in 2026.

A well-organized edition and a good turnout.

The Wolf Padel Park hosted this stage in excellent conditions. The players were able to take advantage of the dedicated facilities, physiotherapy services, changing rooms, and player zone. The large crowd confirms the growing interest in this competition.

The 2025 Major Tour, comprised of five stages, has seen an increase in both player participation and media attention. This momentum has established the circuit as a consistent and valued event for its participants.

2026: an expanded timetable

The upcoming season will include an additional stage, bringing the total to six tournaments. Three will take place in the first half of the year and three in the second half, to provide a more spread-out schedule. The Masters tournament will conclude the sporting year from December 5th to 14th in Athois Le Padel.

The Major Tour thus concludes its 2025 season with a clear perspective: a consolidated circuit and a new year already in preparation.
