The American tour of Padel was born. It is actually a professional padel circuit called the American Padel Tour.
At the Assembly of the Continental Federation of North America (CAPF) held in Monaco, the launch of the professional padel circuit, “American Padel Tour, ”has been made official, and will take place in 7 countries next year.
Considered as one of the fundamental pillars to make sport known, CAPF created this circuit to open up better prospects for players on the continent.
Infrastructure conditions and prices will be improved.
The Prize Money will be $ 12,000 to $ 20,000 and $ 50,000 for teams that qualify for the Final Master.
The president of the institution, Fabrice Pastor, with the vice-president, Omar Villavicencio, announced the details of the calendar with the 15 tournaments in the categories Open and Master, plus a Final Master which will bring together the best teams of the year according to the official classification of the CAPF.
Fabrice Pastor announced that the tour will begin the January 13 in Merida (Mexico) and will make its way across the Americas throughout the year: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Mexico and the United States.
The dates of the tournaments will be announced soon. All events will be broadcast live.
Associations and federations that are members of the CAPF will benefit from this circuit. Part of the revenue from registrations will go to improving working conditions, training coaches and referees, and setting up padel projects for minors.
Monte Carlo International Sports will be the main sponsor of the circuit, and several companies in the sector have already confirmed their participation in this initiative.
