La Summer Pro Padel Argentina kicked off the preseason with a duel that had all the hallmarks of an official match.
Lebrón / Augsburger face Stupaczuk / YanguasTwo major pairs on the circuit engaged in an intense battle, which ended in favor of Stupa / Yanguas (7/6 7/6).
But beyond the score, one sequence in particular caught the attention.
“Let’s not separate over this.”
In a moment of tension, Juan Lebrón addressed to his partner:
“I’m just asking that when we make a mistake, we don’t make a fuss. That we don’t separate over it.”
A powerful, almost symbolic phrase.
We know the nature of the “Lobo”.
Last season, alongside Stupaczuk, the benches were often the scene of visible tensions, heated discussions, sometimes even real friction.
This time, the message is different.
This reframing can be interpreted as a clear intention:
play as a team, stay united, don't isolate yourself in times of difficulty.
Lebrón has lost none of his temperament, but this intervention also shows a form of maturity and a real collective intention in this new project with Leo Augsburg.
A project that wants to grow differently
With a young, explosive and ambitious partner, Lebrón seems to want to build differently.
Less about internal confrontation, more about cohesion.
This attitude could mark a turning point:
to start the season with different ambitions, a different dynamic, and the desire to get the best out of their duo.
Even in an exhibition context, this first message sent from the bench is far from insignificant.
The 2026 season hasn't even started yet, but Lebrón's leadership is already evident... will he maintain a positive attitude throughout the 2026 season? It's hard to say, knowing his character; we'll find out this season.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
