Le  Dugazon Sporting Club  hosted this weekend the  first women's P1000 organized in Guadeloupe , with  29 teams  coming from  Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin and mainland France .

In the final,  TS2 Mélanie Ros / Marie Lefèvre  prevails against the  TS1 Catherine Lalanne / Amélie Detrivière  on the score of  6 / 1 6 / 0 , at the end of a controlled final.

This first  Women's P1000 in Guadeloupe  was also marked by several events:  Exhibition of players from mainland France, introduction of padel for women and a large audience  throughout the weekend.

Le  Women's padel continues to develop in the islands.

Franck Binisti discovered padel at the Club des Pyramides in 2009 in the Paris region. Since then, padel has been part of his life. You often see him touring France to cover major French padel events.
