A very good start for the French in the qualifying rounds.  Premier Padel Malaga P1 .  Timéo Fonteny / Yoan Boronad ,  Thomas Leygue / Arnau Ayats  et  Dylan Guichard / Clement Geens  will all be present in the final round, with three real opportunities to join the main draw.

Fonteny/Boronad qualified without playing

Timeo Fonteny  et  Yoan Boronad  They ultimately didn't need to enter the track to complete the first round. Their opponents, from the alternate list, withdrew.

The two young French players will therefore face the number 2 seed directly.  Aris Patiniotis / Miguel Benítez Lara in the final round of qualifying. The challenge will be significant, but Fonteny and Boronad will have a real chance to reach the main draw of a tournament Premier Padel.

Leygue / Ayats take out Lamperti

Nice performance from  Thomas Leygue  et  Arnau Ayats . Opposed to  Máximo Jesús Maldonado / Miguel Lamperti The Frenchman and the Spaniard played a very serious match to secure the victory.  7 / 5 6 / 4 .

A solid victory against an experienced pair, with the iconic Argentine figure on the track. In the final round, Leygue and Ayats will face the lucky losers.  Pablo Reina Ambel / Jairo Guerrero Escarcena .

On paper, this is a real opportunity to secure a place in the main draw. However, they will need to maintain the same level of focus against a pair who have nothing to lose.

Guichard/Geens are ready.

Dylan Guichard  and the Belgian  Clement Geens , seeded 4 in these qualifiers, also negotiated their entry into the competition perfectly.

Facing the Spanish  Alejandro Jerez Canero / Jesus Moya They have established themselves  6 / 4 7 / 5 Two close matches, but a stronger Franco-Belgian pair in the important moments.

For a place in the main draw, Guichard and Geens will face the Argentinians  Juan Pablo Dametto / Felipe Calleja Here again, the draw offers a great opportunity, although we will need to remain very vigilant against a dangerous partnership.

Three French hopes for the main draw

France will therefore have three pairs to watch in the final round:

Fonteny / Boronad  vs  Patiniotis / Benítez Lara

Leygue / Ayats  vs  Reina Ambel / Guerrero Escarcena

Guichard / Geens  vs  Dametto / Calleja

Three matches, three opportunities to qualify. After a perfectly executed first round, the French are just one win away from the main draw of the  Malaga P1 .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
