The French will not leave Malaga empty-handed.  Nathan Courrin and Louise Bahurel  won the silver medal in the mixed first division  World University Padel Championships , While  Louise Bahurel and Clara Mansart  finished third in the women's competition. In the men's competition, Courrin and  Eliot Deknuydt  took fifth place.

Top seed in the mixed draw,  Nathan Courrin and Louise Bahurel  had secured their place in the final by defeating the Spanish team  Alvaro Sola and Valeria Atencia , seeded 3, with a score of  6 / 2 6 / 4 .

The French, however, were unable to conclude their run with a title. Defeated in the final by another Spanish pair, they leave with a  silver medal  and become the first university world runners-up in the discipline.

Bahurel and Mansart snatch the bronze

Already involved in the women's draw with  Clara Mansart Louise Bahurel's run ended in the semi-finals against the overwhelming favorites, Spain.  Laura Lujan , ranked 44th in the world, and  Agueda Perez 40th in the world.

After a hard-fought first set, the French women were defeated.  7 / 5 6 / 1 They managed to bounce back in the third-place match by dominating the Italian team TS3.  Francesca Ligotti and Giorgia Rosi ,  6 / 4 7 / 6 .

A victory that allows them to leave Malaga with the  bronze medal .
