New disillusionment for  Franco Stupaczuk  et  mike yanguas . Second seed of the  London P1 The Argentinian and the Spaniard were eliminated in their first match by  Jose solano  et  Ramiro Pereyra , from the qualifiers, with a score of  6/7 6/4 6/1  after  2h17 game .

A huge surprise that raises more questions than ever about the future of their association.

Another poor performance

On paper, Stupaczuk and Yanguas were the clear favorites.

After winning the first set in a tie-break, everything seemed to be going well for the 4th seed. But as the match progressed, Solano and Pereyra gained confidence, while the favorites gradually lost their way.

The qualifiers first leveled the score by winning the second round.  6/4 , before completely dominating the third set ( 6/1 ) facing a pair unable to react.

An elimination in the first round is a stain on the record of a duo expected to reach the final four, or even compete for titles.

An association that is running out of steam

This defeat did not occur in a trivial context.

For several weeks now, the results have not lived up to the ambitions displayed by the two players.

The first real warning sign had appeared at  Malaga , where Stupaczuk and Yanguas had been eliminated in the quarter-finals by  Paquito Navarro  et  Martín Di Nenno Beyond the defeat, the images had struck observers: frustration, gestures of annoyance and very little complicity between the two partners.

A few days later, the pair withdrew from the  Pretoria P1  due to Franco Stupaczuk's injury.

The return to London was expected to get things moving again.

That didn't happen.

Body language that raises questions

Throughout the match, both players once again displayed worrying body language.

Un  mike yanguas  tense, often frustrated, and a  Franco Stupaczuk  far from their best level, they never gave the impression of regaining the serenity needed to reverse the trend.

As the match progressed, the difficulties seemed to be as much mental as technical.

Towards a separation?

When this association was renewed, the objectives were clear: to play in the finals and fight for the titles.

Today, the reality is quite different.

Being eliminated in the first round of a  Premier Padel  A result achieved by a pair who came through qualifying falls short of Stupaczuk and Yanguas' status and ambitions. They hadn't experienced such a poor performance in a very long time.

The transfer market is approaching, and rumors of a breakup have been circulating for several weeks. This latest disappointment is only likely to fuel them.

It remains to be seen whether the two men will decide to continue their project despite this difficult period, or whether this London elimination will mark the beginning of the end of an association that seemed destined for much better.
