The quarter-finals of the P1000 4Padel Orleans have delivered their verdict , with contrasting scenarios but one thing in common: the  Favourites  have generally held their rank. A look back at the four posters before the  semi-finals  scheduled for this Sunday.

Bayard / Vincent in express mode

Damien Bayard  et  Pierre-Vincent  (seeded 1) did not go into detail against  Romain Coirault  et  Thomas Brechemier . Quick and controlled victory:  6 / 2 6 / 1 . In  less than 45 minutes , they won the match and confirmed their status as favorites.

Dornberger and Dupont-Brimbeuf win without trembling

Same rhythm for  Paul Dornberger  et  Mathis Dupont-Brimbeuf  (seeded 3), who dominated  Benjamin Dufour  et  Mathieu Gonzalez  :  6 / 3 6 / 2 A clean, focused match with few errors. The duo made the difference tactically and in terms of consistency.

Gortzounian and Filho snatch the tie-break and roll out

The most exciting match of the day.  Clement Filho  et  Charles Gortzounian  (seeded 2) were pushed to their limits by  Arthaud Dumoulin  et  Lucas Pillon . A very close first set, concluded  10/8 in the tie-break , before winning the second round:  6/4 They save  three set points  in passing and confirm their solidity.

Brouillard and Deknuydt make a big splash

Great performance for  Brouillard  et  Deknuydt , which bring down the  seeded 4 , the  Perez Le Tiec brothers ,  three sets A tactically well-managed match, with great intensity, which opened the doors to the last four for them.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
