After losing a final together earlier in the season at  P1000 Enjoy Padel Piombo and Gourre take their revenge this time and win  their first P1000 together .

A first set that hinges on details

The first set was particularly close. The two pairs remained neck and neck for a long time, and opportunities were rare.

But in the money time,  Piombo / Gourre make the difference More solid when it came to closing out the game, they found the necessary break and took the first set.  7/5 .

An important round in a final that had been very evenly matched until then.

Piombo / Gourre take control

In the second set, the number 1 seed moved up another notch.  Piombo/Gourre are dominant in their service games  and are never actually put in danger.

Tristan Piombo, in particular, had a very strong match, especially effective when it came to finishing points. The pair imposed their rhythm more effectively and gradually pushed Molinero/Toppin to take more risks.

And the figures perfectly illustrate the difference:  35 winning points against 25  for Piombo / Gourre, but especially only  17 unforced errors , against  33 for Molinero / Toppin .

TS3 eventually cracked further in the second round and Piombo/Gourre concluded  6/4 .

An almost perfect run for the TS1

Over the entire weekend,  Tristan Piombo / Rémy Gourre perfectly lived up to their status as number 1 seeds .

Having reached the final without any real difficulty, including a clear victory  6 / 2 6 / 3  salary.  Pierre Samitier / Kevin Audo (TS4)  In the semi-final, they finished the job against TS3.

A few months after their defeat in the final of the  P1000 Enjoy Padel Piombo and Gourre will go all the way this time.  First title together , at the end of a tournament where they maintained their position from beginning to end.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
