The quarter-finals of P1000 Casa Padel Very Mulhouse offered a great show, with close matches and a good shot scored William Caspar and Johan Stark, who defeated the 1th seed.

In an intense duel, Teodoro Zapata and Cyril Hanouna (TS1) bowed out 6/2 6/7 6/3 despite a great Zapata, omnipresent on the court. Hanouna, solid, allowed his team to snatch the second set, but Caspar and Stark knew how to remain lucid, relying on a simple and effective tactic: target Hanouna and conclude the points as soon as the opening presented itself. Result: a P1000 semi-final for the Caspar/Stark pair.

In the other quarters, the top seeds responded:

  • Thomas Lelarge and Romain Coirault (ts4) are imposed 6 / 4 6 / 3 face Teri Groll and Diego Garcia, penalized by too many direct errors.
  • Julien Motz and Guillaume Olivier (ts2) dominate Nicolas Rouanet and Nicolas Sidot on the score of 6 / 4 6 / 0, thanks to homogeneity on the track against a hybrid pair.
  • Jérémy Macchi and Thomas Brèchemier (ts3) are imposed 4/6 7/6 6/2 face Robin Petitdidier and Loris Zisswiller, at the end of a big arm wrestling match.

The semi-finals will be between:

  • Motz / Olivier (TS2) vs. Lelarge / Coirault (TS4)
  • Macchi / Brechemier (TS3) vs. Caspar / Stark

See you this Sunday from 11 p.m. on Padel MagTV to follow the outcome of this P1000 Casa Padel.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
